Grandmaster Pedro Vialet (1943-2001):

An exclusive interview on being a fall guy with Stan Schacter of Fighting Arts Magazine,

September 1974... "Fall guys, as they are called, help their Sensei bring thousands of martial arts enthusiasts to their feet at astonishing public demonstrations, yet receive little recognition.  Mr. Vialet works with Master Moses Powell. What he likes most about the role of a fall guy is the additional training, which comes as a kind of bonus. By being a fall guy you recieve more than the normal student receives, because you're actually getting the contact, the movements. You're getting the little extra, and if you bring it in, you've got quite a bit to hold on to.  Mentally, the knowledge that you receive from being athe fall guy is a lot of times put into you by just sitting down and discussing how certain things are done. So you get extra attention too and this broadens your mental capacity."

Grandmaster Muhammad C. Little

(1957-2009):

GM Muhammad C. Little began training in martial arts at the age of 15 attaining a Black Belt in Shotokan karate, and Black Slashes in Wing Chun, Preying Mantis Kung- Fu and Five Animal Kenpo.  In 1978 he began his training in Sanuces Ryu Jiu Jitsu under Sensei Latif in Atlanta, GA.  Sensei Latif introduce him to Dr. Moses Powell in 1979, and GM Muhammad Little became a direct student of Dr. Powell shortly thereafter.  Dr. Powell moved to Atlanta in late 1988, and personally tutored GM Muhammad for 4 years. During Doc's time in Atlanta, the Sanuces Fighting Short & Long Forms were developed by Dr. Moses Powell.  GM Muhammad assisted Doc as the Sanuces Fighting Forms were being brought into existence for the very first time and he alone learnt them.  Doc and GM Muhammad spent much of their time together training and discussing life experiences and lessons. During those years GM Muhammad did not have a steady job, and most of his income came as a day laborer.  Although his wages were not great, he gave Doc half of his earning for most of his time, for the duration that he spent  with Doc. When asked why he did this he simply stated that "what Doc gave me, he gave no other"  This enabled him to train with Doc for nearly 12 hours a day sometime, and no less than 8.  GM Muhammad lived with Doc for 6 months, during which the new Sanuces Fighting Forms were developed. In 1992/93 Doc ordered GM Muhammad to come to NYC , and introduced most of the New York Sanuces Warriors to him.  Doc had GM Muhammad teach the Sanuces fighting Short & Long Forms to the Sanuces Warriors of  New York.  This was the first  time that the Sanuces Fighting Forms were taught outside of Atlanta. Doc returned to Atlanta many more times to see his student, and left Atlanta GA. Sanuces Ryu daily operations under GM Muhammad’s care.  GM Muhammad has returned to NYC and wherever else his beloved “Teacher of Teachers” ordered him to be at in order to  further his understanding of Dr. Moses Powell’s Sanuces Ryu Eye-To-Eye Jiu Jitsu System.  GM Little loved Dr.  Moses Powell, and fondly called him dad, in both public and private conversations.  GM Muhammad Carroll Little was ONE OF THE  VERY FEW MEN that Dr. Moses Powell called HIS SON!
